Accounting Officer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include handling accounts receivable and payable, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and cheque preparation. The Accounting Officer will manage daily accounting operations, perform bank reconciliations, assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, and prepare financial statements and reports. They will also conduct balance sheet reconciliation, provide financial analysis, and assist in financial forecasting and budget planning. Additionally, the role involves supervising junior staff, participating in system enhancements, and completing ad hoc assignments as required. The Accounting Officer will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
