Head of Operations

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include leading and overseeing staff to manage operational activities such as settlement, risk management, compliance, and dealing activities. The role involves fostering collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure efficient front, middle, and back-office operations for local and international markets. Additionally, the Head of Operations is responsible for monitoring and managing daily operations, establishing departmental guidelines, and ensuring compliance with bank policies. They will define process priorities, document due diligence processes, and perform regular quality tracking while producing monthly reports for senior management. The position also requires identifying internal control and process gaps, managing incidents, and defining Key Performance Indicators to track performance. Lastly, the Head of Operations will stay informed on market trends and proactively identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities to drive operational excellence.
