Data Engineer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include designing, developing, and maintaining data management solutions for analytics, including data lakes and warehouses. Responsibilities also encompass building and automating data pipelines, managing the production database, and evaluating technical solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, conducting data analysis, and preparing modeling datasets. Additionally, the Data Engineer will participate in data model design and transformation, implement and maintain enterprise data platforms, and support system testing and deployment. Responsibilities further include optimizing ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, and providing insights through data visualization and reporting. The position also requires translating business questions into mathematical frameworks and developing algorithms for data insights.
